Surface Chemistry of Chlorosilane and Alumina Interactions
Topic: Surface Chemistry of Chlorosilane and Alumina Interactions
I would like to learn more about the chemical structures resulting from Chlorosilane reactions with Alumina surfaces, including self-reactions and reactions in the presence of water. In particular, I am interested in the interpretation of solid-state Silicon (Si) and Aluminum (Al) Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) spectroscopy data as it relates to the structure of silane-modified alumina surfaces. Additionally, I am keen to understand how these reactions and their detailed Si and Al NMR analysis inform broader applications in surface modification, inorganic chemistry, and material science.
