Under Pressure: Decision-Making and Risk in Global Subsea Communications Cable Deployments
I would like to learn more about the decision-making processes involved in selecting and procuring subsea cable components for global communication infrastructure projects.
In particular, I am interested in understanding the influence of key decision-makers, testing and quality assurance procedures, and the challenges faced throughout the buying and specification process.
Additionally, I am interested in the full journey from specification to deployment, including how requirements are defined, how components are sourced (directly from manufacturers or through distributors), and the role of different stakeholders in the ecosystem.
We are also keen to speak with manufacturers, distributors, and channel partners who support customers in specifying, customizing, or supplying subsea cable components (e.g., connectors, terminations, splice kits), to better understand how solutions are developed and delivered to end users.
